Auditions Process
1. Schedule Your TWO Audition Times
Acting & Vocal Auditions will be held on December 7-8. EVERYONE must sign up for a 10-minute audition slot. Three people will audition per 10-minute time slot.
Dance Auditions will be held on December 9. EVERYONE must attend a dance audition. Please sign up for a time based on your dance experience.
2. Complete the Audition Form
The student AND a PARENT must to complete the Audition Form TOGETHER.
- Once submitted, PRINT IT OUT and bring it to your audition!
- If you are auditioning for Seussical – TYA and Alice in Wonderland Jr., you will need an audition form for each show. (They are different audition forms, so you’ll print one of each.)
- If you are unable to attend any of the audition dates, you’ll still need to sign up on SignUp Genius for Unable to Attend. Please send your video with your monologue and song to Office@ACT2colorado.net. The deadline to submit is December 8 at 8:00 PM.
3. Your Audition
Please bring a resume, a recent 8″ x 10″ photo of yourself, and your printed audition form to your audition.
- Your photo doesn’t need to be professionally done. You can take a photo on your phone and have it printed at Walmart.
- Your photo MUST be current. With so many auditions, the director needs to recognize your face when reviewing them, so it needs to look like you do now.
Please prepare a 1-minute monologue of your choice and one of the songs we’ve posted. See the “Audition Materials” page for more information.
4. Audition Results & Callbacks
All students who audition will receive an email by December 11 letting them know whether they are called back for a second audition.
Callbacks will be held on December 15-16. If called back, you will receive additional material to prepare and specific time(s) to arrive.
5. Casting
Casting will be announced by December 21.
