ACTING AUDITION:

Please prepare a 1 minute monologue for your acting audition.

We’d prefer that you find and choose your own monologue, but if you’d like, you are welcome to select one from our list of options.

Audition Monologue Options

VOCAL AUDITION:

Please prepare a cut of a song no more than 1 minute long. It is recommended that you choose a song from a musical in the style of the show.

You will need to provide your own instrumental track. Please bring a phone, tablet, or another electronic device with your instrumental track on it. Youtube is a great resource for finding instrumental or karaoke tracks.

Examples of songs in the style of the show:

Any other songs or musicals written by Rodgers and Hammerstein (ie. Oklahoma!, The Sound of Music, The King and I, South Pacific etc.)

Other classical musicals (ie. Once Upon a Mattress, My Fair Lady, Brigadoon, Peter Pan, Camelot, etc.)

Later musicals inspired by traditional theatre (ie. The Secret Garden, Beauty and the Beast, Anastasia, etc.)

If you have trouble finding your own song, you are welcome to sing a selection from the show. Those cuts are found below. You must sing with the instrumental track.
