Auditions Process
The Audition Process
1. Schedule Your Audition Time(s)
Auditions will be held July 15-18. Those interested in auditioning will need to sign up for a 15-minute audition time. A maximum of 4 people will be scheduled for each 15-minute time slot.
2. Complete the Audition Form
The student AND a PARENT must to complete the Audition Form TOGETHER.
- Once submitted, PRINT IT OUT, and bring it to your audition!
- If you are unable to attend any of the audition dates, you’ll still need to sign up on SignUp Genius for Unable to Attend. Please send your video with your monologue and song to Office@ACT2colorado.net. Deadline to submit is July 18 at 5:00 PM.
3. Your Audition
Please bring a resume, a recent 8″ x 10″ photo of yourself, and your printed audition form to your audition.
- Your photo doesn’t need to be professionally done. You can take a photo on your phone and have it printed at Walmart.
- Your photo MUST be current. With so many auditions, the director needs to recognize your face when reviewing them, so it needs to look like you do now.
Please prepare a 1-minute monologue of your choice and one of the songs we’ve posted. See the “Audition Materials” page for more information.
4. Audition Results & Callbacks
All students who audition will receive an email by July 21 letting them know whether they are called back for a second audition or not.
Dance callbacks will be held on Tuesday, July 28, and vocal callbacks on July 29. ALL students who are called back are expected to attend the dance and vocal calls. Callbacks for leads and supporting roles will take place on August 1.
5. Casting
Casting will be announced by August 3.
