ACT II: Mary Poppins Jr.

The Audition Process

1.  Schedule Your Audition Time
Everyone will need to sign up for a 10-minute audition time. A maximum of 3 people will be scheduled for each 10-minute time slot. (Please read the information in the Casting Information section to prepare for your audition.)
2. Complete the Audition Form
Please complete the Student Audition Form, PRINT IT OUT, and bring it with you to the audition!
3. Complete the Parental Consent Form
Please have your parent complete the Parental Consent form, PRINT IT OUT, and bring it with you to the audition(Students who are 18 or older may fill out this form themselves.)
4. Your Audition
Please bring a resume, a recent photo of you, your printed audition form, and the printed parental consent form to your audition. For your acting & vocal audition, please be prepared with a 1 minute monologue (your own or one provided) and a selected music cut from the Audition Materials page.
 
The auditions are held at the ACT & ACT II Studios at 481 Windchime Place. We are in the lower level of the building. 
5. Audition Results
All students who audition will receive an email by Wednesday, November 13th, letting them know if they are called back for a second audition or not. Those who are called back will attend a dance audition on Thursday, November 14th and the acting/vocal callback on Friday & Saturday, November 15th-16th. Students will be given a time to arrive for their dance audition starting as early at 5:30. On Friday & Saturday, actors will be called back in groups depending on the roles for which they are being considered.  A schedule for the day and acting scenes will be given in advance. 
6. Casting
Casting will be announced by November 19th.
