Callback Schedule & Materials
Congratulations on being called back for a role in Mary Poppins Jr. We’re so excited to get to know you. Please check out the callback list to see which role(s) you are called back for. You may be called back for one or multiple roles, so read the list carefully. Keep in mind that those called back for lead or supporting roles will ALSO be considered for ensemble roles, too, though your name will not be listed in the ensemble section. (Names are listed in alphabetical order by first name.)
We have 3 days scheduled for callbacks.
- Thursday, November 14: Dance
- Friday, November 15: Ensemble Vocals (Includes those listed as ensemble AND many who are also called back for leads or supporting roles.)
- Saturday, November 16: Leads & Supporting Roles
Please read the this entire page carefully so you know what to expect, when to arrive, and if you need to prepare any additional songs or sides.
The cast list will be sent out by Tuesday, November 19th. Everyone who was called back will receive an email letting them know if they were cast or not. Not everyone who is called back is cast in the show.
Dance Callbacks: Thursday, November 14th
Everyone is called back for a dance audition!
Please wear clothing that you can dance in on Thursday. If you have tap or jazz shoes, please bring them with you. If you’ve not had dance training and don’t own dance shoes, please wear comfortable shoes that you can dance in. Please check the list for your call time(s). You may be called back for 1, 2 or 3 dance audition times.
NOTE: The 3rd group is for tap dancers. If you are trained in tap and we missed you on the list, please attend with that group.
Ensemble Callbacks: Friday, November 15th
Friday’s callbacks will focus on ensemble vocals. If you are listed as ensemble, this is your callback. You are not called back on Saturday. This callback includes those listed as Ensemble AND many who are also called back for leads or supporting roles.
Please print out the sheet music and practice these songs before your callback. The songs do NOT need to be memorized.

Precision and Order (Sheet Music) – Ensemble – Measures 1-13
For Precision & Order, there are 2 harmony parts. Please work on them in advance. Miss Lee Ann will help you understand the parts and then split you up into groups to sing for her. The song does NOT need to be memorized.
Acting & Vocal Callbacks: Saturday, November 16th
Saturday is the final day of callbacks. Here is the schedule for the day.
Be sure that you are familiar with all of the materials below that pertain to the character(s) you are called back for, and print sides and sheet music so that you have a copy.
You should wear clothing that you can act and sing in on Saturday, as well as comfortable closed-toe shoes. Bring water! You will want to bring a bagged lunch as well, in case you are at callbacks for the majority of the day.
Be prepared to stay for the rest of the day from the time you are called. We will “release” actors at designated times throughout the day. Being released does NOT mean you are not cast; it just means that the director has seen everything she needs to see to make a casting decision.
There will not be a designated lunch time so you are welcome to eat your sack lunch whenever you’re not in the audition room.
