Callback Schedule & Materials
ACT II: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe
Acting & Sword Fighting Callbacks
Saturday, July 26th
Congratulations on being called back for a role in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. We’re so excited to get to know you. Please check out the callback list to see which role(s) you are called back for. You may be called back for one or multiple roles, so read the list carefully. Keep in mind that those called back for acting roles will ALSO be considered for sword fighting roles, if not cast in an acting role. (Names are listed in alphabetical order by first name.)
Please read the this entire page carefully so you know what to expect, when to arrive, and if you need to prepare any additional sides.
You should wear clothing and shoes that you can act and learn fight material on Saturday. Bring water! You will want to bring a bagged lunch as well, in case you are at callbacks for the majority of the day.
Be prepared to stay for the rest of the day from the time you are called. We will “release” actors at designated times throughout the day. Being released does NOT mean you are not cast; it just means that the director has seen everything she needs to see to make a casting decision.
The cast list will be sent out by Tuesday, July 29. Everyone who was called back will receive an email letting them know if they were cast or not. Not everyone who is called back is cast in the show.
Additional Acting Sides
Please be familiar with the sides listed here AND on the Audition Materials page for any role for which you are called. They do NOT need to be memorized. Please print out your applicable sides and bring them with you.
- Aslan: There is a part in the play where Aslan is wrestling in his mind with what he is about to face with the White Witch. There are no lines during this time, but we need to see his inner monologue as he wrestles with this. Please prepare a silent acting segment of 30 seconds to 1 minute to this music, depicting Aslan preparing for his death.
